Knaphill - a cut above the rest!

Wednesday September 16th 2020

Packed with points of historical interest, as well as the scenic Basingstoke Canal, Knaphill is a smart and friendly village with lots to offer.

After a busy summer, businesses across the area are still thankful for the continued support of customers and are delighted that the neighbourhood is regaining the vibrancy it always had.

One of those businesses is Knaphill Barbers who have safely welcomed many loyal customers back since reopening in June.

“When we reopened we were delighted to see how many customers just couldn’t wait for that all important post-lockdown haircut."

We really missed chatting to our regulars and it was great to finally catch up with them when we got the green light to reopen.” Knaphill Barbers owner Kevin said.

The team also had to make some big changes to accommodate customers safely.

“We were really busy in the lead-up to reopening again, making sure we could safely welcome back our customers."

While we were closed, we used the opportunity to invest further in the business and reopened with a brand-new barber shop, making it possible to adhere to social distancing guidelines. All our staff now wear masks, and while we welcome walk-ins, we also encourage customers to the new appointment system available on our website.” Kevin continued.

Looking forward with confidence, Event Planners Surrey is another business getting back on track.

“We love Knaphill because it has a vibrant village atmosphere with great independent shops and businesses."

"Although we work across Surrey and further afield, Knaphill is a lively base for us."

"During lockdown we offered a popular service of contactless delivery of balloons and other party accessories, helping locals and those further afield mark those special occasions."

While we’re not back at full tilt yet, it’s fantastic that things are picking up again. We’re on hand to help make sure you can safely celebrate important events with those closest to you, as well as providing everything you need for the perfect small gathering.” Event Planners Surrey owner Paul Widdowson said.
